Compared with Looker Studio

Looker Studio is free, it is Google's own, and for one account and one person it is often the right answer. This page is about where it stops, and it is written so you can check every claim rather than take it.

What Looker Studio is good at

Said first, because a comparison that cannot name the other tool's strengths is an advertisement. It costs nothing, it connects to Google Ads natively, it draws almost any chart you can describe, and it shares like a Google Doc. If that is your situation, use it.

Where it stops for an agency

  • Blends cap at five sources

A client with Google Ads, Search Console and a couple of conversion sources reaches the ceiling quickly, and blended data is where its performance degrades first.
  • No multi-client white-label story

A report is a document you share. There is no per-client link that expires, no per-tenant domain, and no rendered PDF carrying your brand rather than Google's.
  • A number is a number

Nothing distinguishes what Google measured in this account from what Google estimates about a market. This product labels every figure Observed, Measured or Inferred, and shows how much search traffic Google withheld.
  • It reports and does not change anything

A dashboard that finds wasted spend cannot act on it. Here the same screen adds the negative keyword, writes the change into a ledger first, and tells you what taking it back would actually restore.

Where the comparison does not favour us

  • It is free and this is not

Looker Studio costs nothing. The Free plan here covers one Google Ads account; beyond that there is a price, quoted at checkout in your own currency.

  • It draws more kinds of chart

Twenty-four report definitions ship here and a builder edits them. That is a smaller space than an arbitrary charting tool, on purpose.

  • It connects to far more than Google Ads

Google Ads is the only advertising platform this product connects to. Depth there is the trade.
