Google Ads reporting, and an SEO plan seeded from what converted

Randstad connects to your Google Ads accounts and does two things with them. It reports on those accounts on a schedule, in formats a client will open without signing in. And it reads the search terms those accounts converted on, then uses them to seed SEO research, so you do not have to supply a seed list. Where something is deliberately not offered, this page says so.

Reporting

One engine renders every report. The dashboard, the preview, the scheduled email and the export all read the same stored definition, so the figure your client reads is the one you set up.

  • Twenty-four report definitions

Campaign, keyword and search-term performance, landing pages, paid and organic side by side, budget pacing, manager rollup, device, day of week and hour of day, among others. They are stored rows rather than hard-coded screens, so a report you build behaves the same as one that shipped with the product.

  • A dashboard with comparison periods

Figures come from a warehouse table rather than a live API call per widget, and any period can be set against a previous one. A metric with nothing behind it reads as no data, never as zero.

  • Live preview

Change a date range, a filter or a column and the result renders against your own data as you go. You find the mistake before the report is on a schedule.

  • A report builder you describe in plain language

Say what you want reported and on which accounts, and the builder assembles the definition: dimensions, metrics, filters, date range. Every part stays editable by hand afterwards, and what it produces is the same kind of object as the twenty-four that ship with the product.

Delivery

A report nobody opens has not been delivered. Schedules run in the workspace's own timezone, the table sits in the body of the email, and every run keeps the file it produced.

  • Schedules in the workspace's timezone

Daily, weekly or monthly, at an hour you choose, in the timezone the workspace is set to rather than the server's. The table arrives inline in the email, so the recipient reads the numbers without downloading a file or signing in anywhere.

  • CSV, XLSX and PDF over a signed link

Exports are generated by a background worker and handed back as a signed, expiring download link. A twelve-month account export runs as a job rather than as a request the browser holds open.

  • A stored artifact for every run

Each scheduled run keeps the file it produced. When a client asks what March's report actually said, you send the file that was sent, rather than a fresh run against figures Google has since restated.

  • Share links your client can open without an account

A signed link renders one report to whoever holds it, stops working after 30 days, and can be revoked before then. The recipient needs no account with us, and the link carries that one report and nothing else in the workspace.

Changes to your Google Ads accounts

Randstad can write to a connected account. Every change is written down before it is sent, and every kind of change is classified by whether it can be taken back.

  • A persisted intent ledger

Nothing goes to Google straight from a click. The intended change is written to the database first, with the entity it touches and the value it would replace, and that record outlives the call whether the call succeeds, fails or applies only part of the batch.

  • Every kind of change carries a reversibility class

The code refuses a kind of write that has been left unclassified. You see the class in the confirmation dialog before you commit to it, in one of three sentences: you can put this back afterwards, this cannot be undone, or you can set the amount back but money already spent at the new one is not recoverable.

  • Some writes are refused rather than warned about

Where a change cannot be reversed by another change, the product does not offer it at all, and the domain refuses it even if a request reaches the API. Where a change can be offered but not undone, the dialog says so in those words rather than hiding it in a tooltip. That costs us coverage against tools that will do anything the API allows, and it is the trade we chose.

  • Pause here, remove in Google Ads

Campaign removal is never offered, and that is deliberate. Pausing is reversible and is usually what was meant; removal is permanent, so it stays in Google Ads where the extra friction belongs.

SEO research

Your own account already records which queries converted and what you paid for them. That is what seeds the research here, instead of a list you type in, and it is why the SEO half needs the Ads connection.

  • Seeded from your own converting search terms

A run takes the twenty terms your accounts converted on most, which is Google's cap on seeds in one call, and asks Keyword Planner about the market around them. You are not asked for a seed list. When nothing has converted yet, it sends the project's domain and an empty seed list rather than inventing terms to look busy.

  • Observed, Measured, Inferred

Every figure is labelled with where it came from. Observed is read from your own accounts. Measured is what Google Keyword Planner reports about the wider market, aggregated across close variants. Inferred is a conclusion Claude drew from those two, which is judgement rather than a number anyone recorded. What we store stays in one EU region; the AI requests themselves are processed by Anthropic outside the EU.

  • A coverage panel for the traffic Google withholds

Google withholds search terms with too little activity, so the terms you can see never account for every click you paid for. The panel compares the two and states how much of the account is not itemised, instead of letting the visible list pass for the whole of it.

  • Briefs, drafts and an on-page audit

From a cluster you get a brief, then a draft you can edit, then an export to Google Drive. Pages that already exist get an on-page audit instead of a draft.

Four tools need no project at all: Search Console, PageSpeed with CrUX field data, structured-data validation and IndexNow submission. Point them at a URL or a property and they run.
